This is a collection if videos I have created over the years while playing PlanetSide. Unless stated otherwise,
all video
files hosted on this site were recorded and edited by me - Draxis,
officer of the SoulReapers on Werner. Credit to

for doing the high resolution NC logo, let me know if there are any
decent TR / VS ones, I couldnt find any. The site has been
verified
to work with Firefox V1.5.0.6 and V2.0.0.1, but font colours and
alignment do
not display correctly
in Internet Explorer, tested with version 6.0.2 - the site should look
something like
this.
Most files will either
be encoded
using WMV9 or XViD 1.1. WMV encodes should work on any Windows XP
install, but XViD does not seem to be too common.
XViD can be downloaded from
http://www.xvidmovies.com/codec.
You may have a codec that has asked to be allocated but isnt up to the
job. Open the video in windows media player, right click on its entry
in the playlist, and select properties. Under 'Video Codec' it should
tell you what is being used to decode the stream. It should read 'XviD
MPEG-4 Video Decoder'. If it isnt the XviD codec there, uninstall
whatever IS there (probably DivX) and you should be able to watch.
A note - DivX and XviD are NOT related - DivX is a codec and a media
player, and neither will play XviD encoded video streams. XviD will
play DivX and probably any other MPEG4 codec implementation.
If you dont want to go messing around with codecs, download and install
VLC Media Player.
It can play just about anything and tends to do a better job
of decoding files than most other media players.
